Teofimo Lopez Test Positive for COVID. Lopez vs Kambosos postponed Aug. 14th

Teofimo Lopez lightweight undisputed champion of the world has tested positive for Covid just 5 days away from his anticipated PPV fight vs IBF mandatory Goerge Kambosos jr. the fight will be postponed for August 14th.

Lopez vs Kambosos was suppose to be on June 5th before Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul was announced for that same weekend (June 6th), Triller felt the need to move the event away from that date to Juneteenth. Kambosos & Lopez been in training camp practically over 12 weeks. Talk about over train.

June 19th was stacked with other boxing event and maybe this postponed fight might of been a blessing to the boxing fans that was compromised.

Naoya Inoue vs Micheal Dasmarinas, Jermall Charlo vs Juan Montiel, the legend Julio caesar Chavez vs Anderson Silva are all schedule on the same day. Fans may feel it a weight off their shoulder. but this was a bummer for all involved.

Prayers for a speedy recovery Teofimo Lopez
