Josh Taylor def. Jose Ramirez UNANIMOUS decision 114-112 all judges scorecards

Josh Taylor is now The undisputed King at junior welterweight after he masterfully outbox and outslugged Former Unified undefeated champion Jose Ramirez.

Josh Taylor knockdown Jose Ramirez twice in the fight. Once in the 6th and the other in the 7th. Josh Taylor was landing straight right hands thru out the fight and implemented the uppercut in the 7th round which put Ramirez down which also the refereeing of prestige ref Kenny Bayless aka Mayweather’s ref came in question of how much time was given to Ramirez to regain his faculties.
Ramirez tried to rally in the last 4 rounds but couldn’t overcome the 2 knockdowns in the judges scorecards.

Josh Taylor was asked what’s next which he replied he really does not know especially after achieving Undisputed the ultimate fighters goal. He could retire now and be content but he has more to prove and to gain for himself. 2 names the has popped up his UNDISPUTED lightweight King Teofimo Lopez and former junior welterweight Undisputed and current welterweight wbo champion Terence Crawford. Those are blockbuster fights but after a great accomplishment and grueling training camp. Josh Taylor may want a homecoming event which is rightfully earned.

Teofimo Lopez & Josh Taylor has been hawing at eachother for several months now let’s see if Teofimo could talk his way into that fight like he did Vasyl Lomachenko. Lineal vs lineal, undisputed vs undisputed, pound 4 pound vs pound 4 pound it gets no better than that.
