Teofimo Lopez DEADLY MESSAGE to Josh Taylor “I Want To Take His Life June 10th.”

Former lightweight King Teofimo Lopez who will be facing Former Junior welterweight Undisputed Josh Taylor June 10th NYC in “The Theater” at MSG, made chilling statements on what type of statement he wants to make against Taylor. 

“With Lomachenko I took his heart, but with Taylor he got no heart, so what can I take from this man, his Life and the only way I can make a statement is by doing that.”

There are many in boxing who disapproves with the sentiments of Lopez’s statements yet many who is educated about the sports are very aware that “you don’t play boxing.” It’s the hurt business and as much as many would like to sugar coat and civilize the nature of this sport. The physical intentions is to inflict bodily harm by any means necessary in the quest of victory. 

“You don’t want to kill a man in the ring yet ask yourself, when you shoot a hook to the temple, what you think that left hook is intended to do and cause” 

Fighters are very aware of the sacrifices and the risk stepping inside that square circle. Teofimo Lopez statement is basically the reality of what can occur and not naive of the nature of delivering or being the recipient of taking punches to the head. Fighters are modern day warriors and Gladiators. For Teofimo Lopez, the ring is a battlefield in which he enters to go to war.
