Teofimo Lopez short term goal is to become a 2 division undisputed world champion which never been done by any male boxer and his Long term goal is to become a 3 division Undisputed world champion which means he will have to be prepare to go thru heavy challenges in his route to achieving both short and long term goals.
First he will have to get thru Martin which is a Wbc final elimination bout which with a win, Teofimo will be the mandatory challenger to the winner of Jose Zepeda vs Regis Prograis as they fight for Josh Taylor’s vacant WBC strap on November 26th. Teofimo is also in mandatory position to fight Josh Taylor thru the Wbo sanctioning body.
