Bob Arum Never intended to make FURY VS JOSHUA UNDISPUTED “This was PAYBACK to what Eddie Hearn did.” (Bid on Teofimo vs Kambosos PURSE BID)

Bob Arum several months back stated that he will get Eddie Hearn & Matchroom boxing back for bidding on Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos jr purse bid. As we already know both Bid for the fight yet Triller won the purse bid 6.2 mill by outbidding nearly triple of what Top rank bid for and double of what Matchroom bid for.

The famous promoter spoke to Manouk Akopyan on YouTube and gave his honest take on Hearn. He said, “Yeah, we’ll get back at them [Matchroom]. I’m angry at them. Yeah, but again, they didn’t get it and all they ended up doing was pissing us off because I think it’s just wrong.”

Fast Forward to today. A highly disappointed boxing community learned the most anticipated heavyweight undisputed bout between Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua basically cancelled because Deontay Wilder won a arbitration case which basically states that Tyson Fury will have to rematch Wilder which put the undisputed bout in jeopardy.

Eddie Hearn worked above and beyond to gather the funds and site trusting Bob Arum and his lawyers that the arbitration will not get in the way of the undisputed bout, yet it seems like Bob Arum knew all along that there will be no undisputed which he already locked in a July 24th site for Wilder vs Fury 3. Not only was the boxing fans upset but the investors like the Saudi’s were aswell. Hearn might of made promises he couldn’t keep which probably hinders future business projects with those he let down. Bob Arum sticked to Hearn and practically made him look unreliable, small and a fool.

The God father at this age still got tricks up his sleeves.
